Tina Bock is a KPJAYI/Sharath Yoga Centre Authorized Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga teacher, E-RYT 500, and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider with more than 13 years of teaching experience. She has taught yoga classes, workshops, retreats, teacher trainings, and corporate wellness programs across more than a dozen countries, sharing her passion for the practice with students of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Since beginning her teaching journey in 2012, Tina has dedicated herself to the traditional study of Ashtanga Yoga, traveling to Mysore, India multiple times to study directly with her late teacher, R. Sharath Jois. In 2017, she received Authorization Level 2, a distinction held by only a small number of teachers worldwide.
Tina’s teaching experience spans studio classes, private instruction, international retreats, Yoga Alliance-certified teacher trainings, and corporate wellness programs. She has worked with clients including Snap Inc., Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and numerous educational institutions, while also teaching throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Central America, and the Middle East.
In addition to her extensive teaching background, Tina has founded and directed yoga schools, developed teacher training curriculums, organized international retreats, and mentored hundreds of aspiring yoga teachers. Her classes blend the discipline and tradition of Ashtanga Yoga with a warm, approachable teaching style that encourages students to cultivate strength, awareness, and self-discovery.
A graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry and a minor in Theatre, Tina brings creativity, authenticity, and a lifelong passion for learning to everything she teaches. She currently lives at the Jersey Shore with her husband and two children, where she continues to teach, lead trainings, and share the transformative practices of yoga with students around the world.
